Our Story
Welcome to The Existence Collective!
Life’s big questions have a funny way of sneaking up on us: Why am I here? What’s my purpose? Can I handle another awkward family holiday? At The Existence Collective, we’re here to guide you through all of life’s twists and turns—big or small, existential or oddly specific.
At The Existence Collective, we are dedicated to being a trusted resource for information, referrals, and exceptional care. Our mission is to create a community where people can access reliable knowledge, connect with trusted professionals, and receive the highest quality care tailored to their unique journeys.
Hi, I’m Aoife, the heart behind The Existence Collective. As a licensed therapist, existential coach, and death doula, I specialize in helping people find clarity and peace when facing life’s most complex challenges. Whether you’re navigating grief, searching for meaning, building stronger relationships, or simply trying to figure out what comes next, this is your safe space to explore, learn, and grow.
At The Existence Collective, we believe in blending compassion with practicality and a healthy dose of humor—because sometimes you’ve just got to laugh at the chaos, right? Think of me as your co-pilot on this journey, offering insight, support, and a little reassurance that you’ve got this.
Together, we’ll dive deep, embrace life’s complexities, and maybe even uncover the answers you’ve been seeking. Ready to take the leap? Let’s make life a little more meaningful, one moment at a time.
About Aoife Kennedy, LCMHC
I bring a unique blend of experience, education, and empathy to my work. With a BA in Psychology from the University of Hartford and years of hands-on experience in research, research ethics & compliance, and program coordination at Harvard Medical School, I’ve dedicated my career to understanding the human experience.
After a brief adventure in computer engineering (yes, I know—it’s quite the pivot), I earned my Master’s in Mental Health Counseling from Plymouth State University. Since 2018, I’ve been helping individuals navigate life’s complexities as a practicing counselor and academic coach.
In 2024, I expanded my expertise by earning my Death Doula Certification from the University of Vermont. This certification allows me to offer compassionate and informed support during some of life’s most challenging transitions.
When I’m not coaching or counseling, you’ll find me exploring the woods with my dogs, tending to my ever-growing collection of plants, or rearranging my home (again).
